  • Born 15th July 1991 in Pembury, Kent and grew up on his family’s farm in North Kent.
  • He is an exceptional all round sportsman. Playing Tennis for Kent and was offered a trial for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
  • The wicket-keeper batsman made his First-Class debut for Loughborough Marylebone Cricket Club University vs. Northamptonshire at Loughborough in 2011.
  • His innings of 143 off 113 balls against Derbyshire at Canterbury was the highest one-day total by a Kent batsman at the St Lawrence Ground.
  • Made his One Day International debut on the 9th June 2015 vs. New Zealand at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
  • Made his Twenty 20 on the 23rd June 2014 vs. New Zealand at Old Trafford, Manchester.
  • He scored 693 runs at an average of 29.80 in Division Two in 2015.
  • Since making his England debut in June last year Sam Billings has played five one-day internationals and five t20 internationals.
  • Last year, Billings topped the Royal London Cup batting standards, which included a sensational innings of 135 runs from 58 balls against Somerset.
  • In December Billings was brought by Islamabad United in the 2016 Pakistan Super League for £30,000.
